PRECISE & RELIABLE PUMPING

Since VMF relies on vibrations instead of fast feed flows to prevent membrane fouling, peristaltic pumps can be used for the recirculation of the retentate. Controlling the process at low to moderate pump speeds translates to less mechanical stress and therefore low shear of sensitive bioproducts. They also simplify permeate flow control by eliminating the need for a regulation valve.
