The Vibro® dynamics
Controlled vibration creates turbulence at the membrane surface, keeping it clean at low and uniform TMP – creating an efficient anti-fouling mechanism while preserving the mRNA constructs.
Performance gain (>3X) – 2 mRNA constructs tested
Fluc (2117 nt) & COVID-19 (4283 nt). VMF sustained >3X
higher filtrate flux versus conventional technologies (i.e., ~62 vs ~19 LMH in a 24-hour run) with ~95% conversion rate concentrating the mRNA up to 20X.
Continuous operation
Stable, low-shear VMF enables continuous single pass tangential flow filtration (SPTFF) over extended runs (24h demonstrated) without loss of performance.
mRNA constructs preserved
Analytics (e.g., SEC/electrophoresis) after 24h processing showed no adverse effect of vibration on the mRNA constructs, thus the construct is kept intact.
